Baily Hancock, Professional Friend Maker on Connection and Community

Baily Hancock, Professional Friend Maker on Connection and Community
Episode 028

In this week's episode of the Impact Table Podcast, host Marssie Versola is in conversation with Baily Hancock Professional Friend-Maker and Connection Strategist.

A natural-born connector and extracurricular enthusiast, Baily has spent her life curating community and nurturing her network, priding herself on being only a degree or two of separation from just about anyone (including Kevin Bacon). Throughout the past decade, she's taught hundreds of entrepreneurs and social impact leaders how to connect and collaborate with others to amplify their message, attract their ideal clients, and increase their impact in the world.

The key takeaways?

šŸ”› Once you're an adult, community is something that doesn't have to start over.  You just keep adding to it - expanding and evolving your community as you expand and evolve as an individual.

āšŖ  The three Cā€™s to saving humanity are community, connection and collaboration - they go in an infinite circle.

šŸ’« Communities centered around a shared interest - that is where you will unlock camaraderie, understanding, learning in a safe environment, and the opportunity to share the hardships of your struggles and celebrate your wins.

āž° By the time we are 40 we are all wearing far too many layers of society's expectations, our parents' expectations, our teachers, our bosses and coworkers, and everyone around us.  What would it look like to peel back those layers?  The layers are what keep us disconnected. Peel back the layers.

šŸ‘ļø Connection and community are not nice to have.  They are non-negotiable.  We literally need connection and community to survive on a psychological and a physical level.
